Three Indian Major Ports Recognized as Green Hydrogen Hubs
The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) officially designated three major ports—Deendayal Port Authority (Gujarat), V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority (Tamil Nadu), and Paradip Port Authority (Odisha)—as Green Hydrogen Hubs under the National Green Hydrogen Mission (NGHM).
- Development Model: The ports will adopt a cluster-based development framework to maximize infrastructure convergence and scale production, industrial utilization, and exports.
- Revised Policy Guidelines: Under the updated frameworks, these ports are recognized under Component B2. This allows them to function as designated hubs without direct central financial assistance while retaining complete eligibility for other state and central regulatory incentives.
- Regional Roles: Deendayal Port serves as the primary western gateway, V.O. Chidambaranar Port acts as the southern industrial connector, and Paradip Port anchors large-scale clean energy investments along the eastern coast to support India's 2070 net-zero targets.

The Indian Army has started procuring its indigenously developed Counter-Unmanned Aerial System (C-UAS) Grid named SAKSHAM (Situational Awareness for Kinetic Soft and Hard Kill Assets Management).
- Procurement and Timeline: Approved under the Fast Track Procurement (FTP) route, full deployment across field formations is scheduled for 2026.

- Operational Integration: The grid visualizes the battlefield in 3D and syncs with the Akashteer system to control the newly expanded Tactical Battlefield Space (TBS), which regulates the air littoral up to 3,000 meters above ground level.

The National e-Governance Division (NeGD) under MeitY signed an MoU with Sahakar Taxi Cooperative Limited to provide technical and strategic support for its upcoming cooperative-driven ride-hailing venture, Bharat Taxi, launching in December 2025.
