The National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM) is inviting applications for two Group ‘A’ positions: Joint Director and Accounts Officer. These vacancies will be filled on a deputation (including short-term contract) basis. Interested and eligible candidates can apply via post or email.

There are two vacancies available:
- Accounts Officer: 1 post
- Joint Director: 1 post
Eligibility Criteria
Accounts Officer:
- Eligibility:
- Officers from Central or State Government or Union Administration who:
- Hold similar posts regularly, or
- Have worked for at least two years in Grade Pay Band-2 of Rs. 9300 – 34800 plus 4800, or
- Have worked for at least three years in Pay Band-2 of Grade Pay of Rs. 9300 – 34800 plus 4600.
- Officers from Central or State Government or Union Administration who:
- Qualifications:
- Passed the Subordinate Accounts Service or equivalent examination conducted by any organized Accounts Department of the Central Government, or
- Successfully completed Institute of Secretarial Training (ISTM) and training in Management or equivalent Cash and Accounts work with one year of experience in Cash Accounts and Budget work.
Joint Director:
- Qualifications:
- Post Graduate Degree in any subject.
- Five years of experience in Grade Pay of Rs. 7600 in PB-3, or five years of administrative experience in an analogous post, or a minimum of ten years.
Pay Scale
- Accounts Officer: Level 10
- Joint Director: Level 13
