2. Indian Railways Network Electrification

2. Supercomputer Simulation of the Mpemba Effect

• Historical Significance: Commemorates the 175th anniversary of French physicist Léon Foucault’s famous 1851 pendulum experiment at the Panthéon in Paris, which provided the first direct laboratory demonstration of Earth's rotation.
• Core Planetary Facts to Remember:
  • Rotational Parameters: Earth completes one full rotation relative to the Sun in approximately 24 hours (one mean solar day) traveling west to east at an equatorial velocity of ~1,670 km/h.
