Chennai (Tamil Nadu) has officially operationalized India's first Real-Time Flood Forecasting and Spatial Decision Support System (RTFF & SDSS) to overhaul its urban disaster management infrastructure.

• Coverage Range: Spans 4,974 sq km covering Chennai and its critical sub-basins (Adyar, Cooum, Kosasthalaiyar, and Kovalam rivers).
